Hong Kong Travel Guide -
We have quite a lot of pictures and general visitor and sightseeing information from our stop-over in Hong Kong (Kowloon) - including a visit to
the world famous Big Buddha and the beautiful Monastery located over on China's Lantau Island.
There are also loads of photographs from around
Hong Kong Island including a trip on the Peak Tram plus a couple of short walks
in and around The Peak on Hong Kong Island. We have never been on holiday or
visited anywhere
remotely like Hong Kong - there are just so many people moving around wherever you go,
then there are the incredible skyscrapers and skyline plus shops selling anything you could want.
And yet it's not hard to leave the bustle of Kowloon and Victoria Harbour and find
yourselves some really nice quiet countryside (and welcome fresh air).

of Singapore - these are just a series of photographs which were taken around the harbour and
streets whilst on holiday on Singapore Island.
There are also a few photographs taken
of some of the animals which live in the excellent Singapore Zoo - including pictures of several of
the Zoo's magnificent Bengal White Tigers.

There are a small series of photographs plus information about our long distance railway trip travelling on the Eastern and Orient Express from Bangkok through to Penang and Singapore - including some pictures of the River Kwai and it's famous/infamous bridge. EASTERN ORIENT EXPRESS
Beautiful India.
We also have quite a few pictures plus holiday and travel guides about our holiday
in India at the lovely and peaceful Bogmalo Beach in Goa -
certainly one of the best holidays we have ever had and the food was brilliant - loads of
different currys, fish and rice dishes to chose from and really inexpensive
especially on the beach restaurants. Whilst in Goa we also decided to try out a
bit of tiger spotting - sadly with no luck but we saw plenty of crocodiles etc.
We did this trip on our own i.e. not with a holiday company - all we did was
take a train ride from Vasco da Gama down to Karnataka State
and into the Indian jungle
around Dandeli. We have lots of photos from around there and also have information on
several trips including white water rafting on the River Kali.
